Bio
I am a Documentary Filmmaker, Film editor and University professor. I have worked as documentary editor in Cat City (2024), directed by Ben Kolak (https://www.cat-city.org/) and Call me Waya (2025), directed by Charles Abelmann (https://www.callmewaya.com/). I’ve directed documentaries that have aired on cable TV in Chile: Las 3 Banderas (2010), a film about the history of the Chilean flag, Vigías al Fin del Mundo (2015) were I also worked as assistant editor (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGhoF8Rdrh8&t=24s) and I directed and edited De Jorge a Francisco (2024), about the history of Pope Francis in Buenos Aires (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_lF56Dfi2s). I´ve also directed and edited a documentary that was featured at the Chigago On Screen 2018 Film Festival, called “Moa’s Ark” (https://shorturl.at/0GQeS), about an urban farmer in Rogers Park.
My latest work has led me to documentary film editing and that is a real passion for me. I am addicted to it. I love documentary editing because I see it as the place were the film starts getting its shape. For me it’s the moment were you start visualizing how it will be in the end. And that is what I love the most.
