Bio

Nick Anderson is an award-winning director and the founder of Sacramento-based Bright Coast Productions. A graduate of Chapman University’s film program, Nick’s work spans short films, branded content, and socially driven documentaries. He cut his teeth on The Last Crop, a feature doc about family farms, and has since directed projects including The Invisible Homeless, a 20-minute film exploring the lives of unhoused women and children, and a 12-part docuseries on climate change and California agriculture. His narrative shorts (The Bust, The Change, The Merger) balance grounded emotion with bold visual storytelling. Nick’s debut feature documentary, The Right to Exist, follows a self-governed homeless encampment fighting for survival in Sacramento. He is currently seeking producing partners and developing his first narrative feature.
